Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

My friend found an abandoned cat few weeks ago, which was hungry and kept following her. She is looking after it while trying to locate its owner. It is mainly black with a white smudge on its nose and neck, as well as a white underbelly and paws. She took it to a vet to see if it was microchipped with ownership information but unfortunately it is not. The vet said it was an unneutered tom and is probably around 2 years old. Failing anybody coming forward in the next few weeks, I suppose if someone wants to adopt him, then get in touch, unless those who know about these things think it's better to take him to an animal shelter/charity for adoption from there.

Unless it's someone you personally know, go down the shelter route. Sadly it is not uncommon for people to pose as adopting a cat, only to use it for training fighting dogs. There is an active dog fighting ring operating in Wood Green.

Wow! How awful. Thanks for the advice EyeSpy. I’ve also put this on other Groups in Crouch End and some are saying that it looks similar to some ‘lost cat’ poster pictures, so if it is the same cat and we can get it home, then no need for adoption route and, of course, that would be the best end result

Absolutely agree. If so, suggest to the owner to get him microchipped and neutered.

Good advice again EyeSpy. Thanks
