Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Sad news. My bike was stolen from outside my house on Harringay Rd. It was a python quantum.

Doubt I'll get it back but worth spreading the word in case you also keep your bike outside. I've lived in the area for the last few years always locking my bike outside but I guess my luck ran out.  I use a quality lock but it was on one of the thinner parking sign posts. They unscrewed the sign and presumably lifted it off.

Anyway please be careful and make sure your bikes are secure.

Oh dear, perhaps suggest outside your house as a location for a bike hangar?

Wow thank you, I definitely will.

Bad luck. I would not recommend anyone leave their bikes outside. I chased a scruffy looking fella out of my front a few years ago after seeing him walk in and brazenly check under the tap I had over the bikes. He said something about seeing something or other he felt the neat to check out... Pure crap!

Anyway, a few weeks later (and having not learnt my lesson) some git nicked the bikes, brazenly at 6pm in the summer while we were in the front room, and made off with them but set fire to the plastic tap as he left to divert us...

The bikes are not out back, which sadly means we have to drag the through the house, but at least they are safe.

I'm sorry this happened to you. It has also happened to me and it sucks.

Consider keeping an eye on this site which aggregates Ebay and Craigslist postings in London.

someone knocked on my door at 11pm last night. I didn't open the door, but I went to check and he asked through the glass if i had any rubbish to take...at 11pm on a Sunday? really?...
