You could, of course, bring back the university constituencies but with 130-odd universities putting up candidates that would lead to a huge influx of Monster Raving Loony MPs ( and we've already got the SNP )
If you're a student away at University you can apply to get a postal vote sent to you at University.
In fact you can register to vote in both places - wherever your University is, as well as at home.
It's illegal to vote in the same type of election (e.g. general) in two locations but a £5,000 fine is peanuts compared to your student loan debt...
Yes students can register in two places and choose where to cast their vote - would be better if we had PR but students can vote more tactically than most.
