(By the way anyone know why the boys with the Foff jet black German autos have suddenly started plumping for Foff brilliant white?).

Horses can canter up to about 17mph, so if the Merc wanted to win it would be best to race on Green Lanes up near Fairfax - preferably northbound but the southbound going also looks good - but only if Wightman Road is filtered:
