Highgate Wood School - MADFEST 2011

Not strictly local, but my son attends the school. A brand new Fiat 500 and a tour around the Arsenal Emirates Stadium are amongst prizes up for grabs.

Join us for MADFEST, our annual summer celebration of Music, Art and Dance at Highgate Wood School. Come and enjoy an exciting line-up of talented student performers – musicians, singers, dancers on the open air stage. Alongside the performances, MADFEST offers a dazzling array of food and fun! We will offer beauty and pampering opportunities such as the Pura Feet Fish treatment, Henna tattoos and nail art. You can try your hand at the notorious Stocks – the chance to throw wet sponges at teachers! See if you can conquer the Bucking Bronco, or even win a brand new Fiat 500, courtesy of Prickett & Ellis estate agents. Arsenal Football Club will be running a Penalty Shoot-out on the astro-turf, and are also offering a Raffle Prize of a tour around the Arsenal Emirates Stadium! Books, CDs, and DVDs will be on sale, and we are delighted to announce that local author and comedy actress Arabella Weir will be signing copies of her books. If you are an art-lover, Jealous Gallery will be present with pieces of art for sale.

MADFEST also marks the beginning of the Highgate Wood School Post-16 Art exhibition, giving you the opportunity to view recent works by the students. There will also be drama performances staged on the day.
