New grey shop front opposite Santander

Looks like it could be something quite nice and not just another Kebab shop... any ideas?

A little digging shows that a planning application for a change from A1 to A3 was submitted last year by the owner of the travel agent. A little more digging shows that he appears to own La Lira Italian restaurant on Stoke Newington Road. Google Streetview shows design features in common with what we see in the Grand Parade premises. Could be that the workmen assumed it would be Turkish because the owner is Turkish.

That makes sense. Get an A3, do the conversion, run it for a bit then sell and rake in the much higher profit the sale of an A3 premises will command. (Of course I could be barking up the wrong tree in the wrong park!)

I'd welcome a restaurant as long as it's not kebabs.
