Are you a Haringey resident or registered with a Haringey GP, OR have some caring responsibilities for someone who is a Haringey resident or registered with a Haringey GP?

If you have the time to become a patient or carer representative, to help plan health and care services for the future, then this could be the right opportunity for you:

Haringey Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is responsible for planning and buying (commissioning) healthcare services for Haringey residents.

Contracts for three of the CCG's community services are coming to an end this year. This means that they need to find organisations to bid to provide the services for the future. Haringey CCG are looking for patients and carers to help them with this process.

Public Voice is helping the CCG to find some patient or carer representatives to help choose the new provider(s) for these services.

Community services are services that your GP can refer you to for diagnosis and treatment for certain conditions. Community services are led by hospital consultants and offer patients the opportunity to be seen near to where they live in health centres or GP practices, reducing the need for people to go to hospital.
