Remember our Parks!

Just wanted to share with everyone what a wonderful time I had at the Art in the Park festival yesterday in Downhills Park. There were many other activities taking place in our other parks eg chestnuts, ducketts etc but outside these times parks are rarely used by local families.

I would love to stand outside somewhere like Wood Green Shopping mall giving out flyers about these venues which can be acessed free of charge, children can run around with no space restriction and get plenty of exercise and fresh air.

Of course we rely on the council to ensure they play their part in making sure all our parks are well maintained and safe for our children to play in.
