Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have ( had ? ) a mouse which seemed to have the property of passing through a very narrow slit and then appearing in two places at once - the kitchen and the living room.

I could never tell exactly where it was, as the action of observing it made it appear somewhere else.

I put down poison in the kitchen and I haven't seen it since. But is it alive or dead ? Or both ?

Or does it matter, as long as it stays off my work surfaces ?

Perhaps someone on HOL, native of Copenhagen, can enlighten me

Obviously a quantum mouse John. You don't stand a chance.

The mouse is the Brompton Bicycle of the animal kingdom and can fold its skeleton* to allow passage through a hole the size of its head.

How did you manage to observe it in two places at once though?

* that's a myth by the way, they're just really skinny.

For every one you see there are at least another half dozen in hiding. Poisoning them usually means they die inside your mattress or sofa, or under your floorboards. They will start stinking and then you'll get the maggots.

A mousey multiverse ?

I think they must go off and die under my neighbours' floorboards.
