Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone have a chess set that they no longer use?  Or even a set of pieces?  We have a board. My son wants to secretly learn to play while my husband is away next week as a surprise for Christmas!  I can't find one in the local shops...

Hi Elinor

The London Bridge and Chess Shop has a great range of sets. The link is here: http://shop.chess.co.uk/

It is also the HQ for Chess in Schools which is a charity promoting chess education. I teach chess through the charity including at Seven Sisters. I know children really love it. The charity has provided teachers for chess clubs in Marcus Garvey Library and Wood Green. The Marcus Garvey club is on Fridays after school and is for all ability levels including beginners.

All the best
