Hugh - I have to ask - is there a reason why 1905 is such a fruitful years for images? I could guess a technology change in photography but is it simply that you got hold a particularly large collection from that period?

I think you asked the same last week. The reason I label so many photos c1905 is that the Edwardian era saw an explosion in commercial photography. For many of those photos no exact date is known. 1905 is an approximate date for these images.
