Such a beautiful thing but a bit random in the choices of places. Fair enough Wood Green and Tottenham ....just keep going straight on the A105 and A503. But Southend and Shepherds Bush?

As soon as I saw the entrance, I thought Manor House. I don't remember the way post so, if it was there in the '60s, I would have thought it was in the very early '60s though I am usually wrong about these things. 

Diagonally opposite was the old Liverpool Victoria house with ivy covering the vast majority of the building. A little bit along and on the other side of the road was the Norwegian St Olaf's church whose Christmas tree was a sight to behold so it seemed at the time.
