I remember a family of Mansfields being in my area.

There was a Mansfield family lived in Priory Road in the 1960s, bit away from the Harringay area, but close enough there might be a family link: the father was (I believe) a Sidney. There were two sons, both attended Tollington school in Muswell Hill, as did I, how I got to know them. The elder son is 'late', the younger now in Devon, so no longer local.

Melian Mansfield, who is active in Haringey educational matters has lived in Weston Park for many years. I wonder whether Mr Mansfield, the gardener  of c 1905, is a relative.
