Hadn't noticed/realised before that the new St Pauls wasn't built on the same spot as the razed one - moved from corner of Burgoyne to corner of Cavendish. From google streetview:

I think the postbox possibly has moved slightly too, but that may just be the perspective.

And on Thursday next, 13/7, after 45 years No.7 will have another change of ownership and, sadly, probably a change of use.  I'll miss Ajit but not, perhaps, Nirmal's dog.

No Hugh. It was 'on-again-off-again' over the past year so I didn't probe Ajit, though he made some mention of buyer waiting for planning permission for a studio flat - possibly towards the back. Whether that leaves scope for retail or something else, I really don't know.

Now that you mention it, Hugh, I see from Planning that a Mr Chris Jaehme from East London has prior approval for change of use from A1 (retail) to C3 (dwelling house).
