Hi,

I have a grinder with a ceramic disc if that helps. Welcome to borrow it anytime.

Ben

Thanks Ben, I’ve actually got an angle grinder myself but I’m not sure how straight a cut I’ll get! I’ll give it a go with mine but thanks anyway

cheers

Use a tile cutting disc (you can borrow mine is you would like). Its quite easy, just draw your cut line with pencil and then follow it lightly with the grinder, then start going in deeper after that.

Hi Adam,

What sort of tiles do you need to cut? I have a manual (not sure how sharp the wheel is though) or a power one which is quite heavy!

Georgie

Hi Georgie – forgive me for searching out an old post... I wonder if I could be very cheeky and ask whether you still have your power tile cutter? I need to cut about 20 small ceramic tiles for my kitchen and I'm not having any luck with the manual cutter, I'm destroying tiles left right and centre!

Would it be at all possible to borrow your power cutter for a day?

Best wishes

Lucy

Hi Lucy, Yes, you are welcome to borrow it. Have you used one before? It is quite heavy.

Hello, thanks so much for getting back to me and kindly saying yes - have borrowed from someone else now but v much appreciate your help!
