I think that this is the third time that I have seen this job advert on HoL.  Obviously Mind is finding it hard to get someone to apply for the post.

Who would want this job?

You are expected to make yourself available on any Saturday or Sunday for a period of twelve hours each day, but being on a zero hours contract you will only get paid for the hours you work.  You might get a few hours pay or perhaps none - but you still have to make yourself available.  In addition the job description on the Mind web site states that ". The caretaker is asked to give advance notice of at least 3 weeks if they are not available on a specific weekend date."  So even if you are not getting paid you still have to inform Mind that you want time off.

Suggestion to Mind - pay a minimum of say 5 hours for each day, you might then get some applicants.

I was thinking of applying for this as I'm currently the premises manager over at centre 404 and have the same responsibilities over there in terms of venue hire. The expectations outlined by Konrad was what stopped me from applying, too, which is a real shame as it would have been a nice little earner!

What I think would have made more sense would be to give the caretaker 3 weeks' notice in advance of any venue hire bookings, as opposed to the other way round.
