Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Article in the Guardian today about the unbelievably bizarre and draconian regulations some landlords impose on their tenants, highlighting the case of a two bedroom flat in Turnpike Lane: No Scorpios, no meat-eaters: the rise of extreme flatshare ads

Anyone know which this flat this is?

Try Bose noise-cancelling headphones, they really do work and you don't even have to play anything through them, you can just detach the lead (on the wired versions) and attain silent bliss!

I don't flat share any more but my next door neighbour likes to vacuum before 6 am!

so the moral of this tale maybe to anaylse before criticise, as everyone is naturally very good at criticising what they don't understand or believe and the media is also there to entertain with sensationalism of stories. When we live together as a family or society there are always rules and we are not perfect rule makers but have some rules is always better than no rules.

Yes be that as it may, but surely you must agree some of the rules listed in the Daily Mail/Guardian newspaper articles are positively medieval?

say specifically what you think is medieval=wrong and I will comment.

imagine if the local counsil was in the business of house sharing and providing a flat rent to cover all cost and also protecting the interest of all other individuals in the house share you would have a several page contract of rules.
