Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Walking back from Manor House Station today, I noticed a Transylvanian restaurant opposite the Arena. It didn't look particularly new - must have passed me by somehow.

Has anyone tried it?

...also Yasser Butchers which has been closed for well over a decade (Green Lanes near the junction with Warham) is being fitted out. My spies tell me its going to be something we all really desperately need- another kebab-erie.

I agree - in need of much more variety!! I miss La Vina - it was great to have a tapas restaurant but that closed suddenly after being around for years. That's still a mystery to me

Unfortunately La Vina was very average when I went, so I don’t miss it, though a modern Spanish would be great. A Lebanese restaurant would be good too. And any type of restaurant that reflects the ongoing food revolution. We need to be able to look Dalston in the eye.

Haha can’t agree more - and love the comprehensive rejection of french tacos...

They may be trying but without current A3, and with Haringey now sticking to their own policy it seems like they're unlikely to get it (but I am crossing my fingers).

Is this in reference to the former Operat/Afters premises? All they need is one retail stand and they will waltz through planning permission. Abraco did just this - a bunch of Trek bars and you have a mixed use A1/A3 premises. What a farce

Does everything taste of satellite dishes?
