Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

well there are lots of smallish potholes going down green lanes hill from Manor House to under the bridge. But last night my bike landed in a massive crater near Finsbury tavern. I’m not quite sure how I managed to stay upright, but someone thankfully, as my old brittle bones are a bit fragile these days. But more to the point, it’s badly buckled my wheel.  Really p....d off as it’s costing at least £55 to replace, not to mention the inconvenience

Be careful, as I think it’s new

Given that those potholes have been there for the past fifteen years or so I'd be surprised if this prompts them to be fixed. I can't see it happening until someone comes off, is seriously injured and the council has to pay some hefty compensation or it's cited in a coroner's report.

I think you need to take the time to read the very long boring old post before replying

This was a new very large hole where upon my bike and other people were damaged, but it has since been repaired in the last week

Ah, my post was meant to be in response to Zena's post talking about that area in general rather than your post about the specific pothole.

Ah ok thanks for clarifying
