Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all,

I need to get a couple of small blocks of wood cut to raise the height of some furniture (I won't bore you with the details). I know there used to be a place in Crouch End that would cut wood to size but it is now a trendy clothes and accessories shop.

Is there anywhere else anyone can recommend? Homebase don't do that sort of thing.

Thanks!

Owen

I would be happy to do it for you but somebody on here borrowed my saw back in October and didn't return it.

Spoils it for everybody, no ?

I no longer lend parking vouchers, for the same reason.

I think wood green timber might do it 020 8888 7777

If you are buying wood from Wood Green timber, they will cut for you sheet materials (MDF, plywood); but if you are buying strip wood (say 4x2") they won't cut to length. Last time I got some there they let me use their saw (manual, obviously) to cut to length. I don't know if anyone else around here will even do what Wood Green Timber do, that is, cut up sheet material.

Hi Owen,

I'll be glad to cut these for you. Please PM me if still needed..

I really miss that little timber shop in Crouch End - they would cut anything to the exact size, whether you bought it there or brought it in.
