Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Door-to-door scam moneyexpert.com
We have been visited by three young folks pretending to be working for Moneyexpert.com and willing to help us to switch to a better broadband provider.
We cut the conversation off quite quickly, so not sure how the scam exactly works, but watch out! This was on Mattison Rd, probably around 8pm.

Visited my place on Mattison Road yesterday afternoon too. Told them I was working and couldn’t talk.

I told them we were social distancing and closed the door, but had to go back out side and tell them to move on - there were about 5 of them. One woman told me there was no law against standing on a public pavement.

No idea if it is a scam or not but a young lady just knocked on my door saying she was from MoneyExpert. Stood on pavement, so not on doorstep. Told her I don’t do anything at the door. Wished her a Happy New Year and off she went.
