Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Construction has now paused because of the Christmas Embargo. To ensure that Santa can park his sleigh for a Slap-up Turkish meal, no construction is allowed during the lead up to Christmas. So keep 'em peeled!

Construction will resume on 6 January 2014.

Except in Lausanne Rd where presumably Santa will park in Hampden or Frobisher and drag his pressies back through the passage like everybody else.

Don't be ridiculous, John. When Santa's delivering presents, he just hovers.

My point is, and well you know it, that Lausanne Rd is being worked on at this time because the traders have managed to get the pavement work on Green lanes stopped for local shoppers. Call me cynical but the timing is ridiculously coincidental.

Oh ye of the great conspiracy theory. The embargo on construction in high streets at Christmas, is, I believe, Council-wide

Tell Santa to lower the pavement edges on Burgoyne Road please, they're way too high and what happened to accessibility?   There are no dips for wheelchair/pram users, they have to go further up the road right near parked cars.  Just badly planned as per.

Hello Therese. Not enjoying the noise and. disruption in Green Lanes at the moment. Had some huge machinery in my road today. So both my road and the next - Burgoyne - are closed to traffic.

Would be good to meet for a.coffee
Thanks Rob
