garden labourer needed - for a few hours of serious weed removal in the next 2 weeks
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced and thorough gardener/outdoor handyman who can rid my garden of convulvulus in the next week or so?
As the weather's warmed up, I've noticed shoots of the stuff springing up everywhere and I need it properly dug up (not just pulled out) and disposed of before it strangles every other plant in the vicinity.

Hi My gardener, Jose, is very good. 07453 557695. I have had him for 4 years. Very hard working and thorough. But as a very experienced gardener myself I suggest that you might like to apply glyphosate weed killer. The convolvulus is notoriously difficult to get rid of. A systemic weed killer will get right down into the roots and finish the plant off. Should take about 3 weeks. (Jose did a treatment on a neighbour's garden that was covered in briars. Did the job very nicely. It's almost impossible to get all the roots out and if one tiny section breaks off that's a new plant in six weeks. My thoughts for what they are worth.
