Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi neighbors,

Just wondering if anybody is experiencing issues with the pressure and change in temperature of the water in the your houses since last week's flood in Green Lanes?

Since then we haven't been able to take a normal shower, very frustrating!

Thanks,

Veronica

I got Thames Water coming around tomorrow to check out where the issue is as our water pressure has been affected as well, I will let you all know what they have to say.

They're coming to mine on Thursday. My boiler keeps loosing pressure and I can't water the garden. It's so annoying!
What did they say?

Hey Bethany

It works out our meter pod in the front of the house (on the street) is faulty and we are losing 10 litres per second of flow.  Thames Water has arranged now to come out and fix it.

Yes indeed, I will ask this when they come around to fix it.

That's interesting, he said our tap was half closed so that what was causing our low pressure. I'm suspicious as we had absolutely no problem with our water pressure until the burst main on Green Lanes. He said he turned it back to full but there has been no difference.

He also said it wasn't a third party that went through the water main, they were contractors working on behalf of Thames water. He also said there is no other problem in the area.

Does anyone know how you have it independently tested?
