Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Office furniture resale/clearance recommendations please, or charity needing new furniture?

Does anybody know a company that deals with office furniture resales? I have about 18 desks and matching filing cupboards needing new homes. Please note I'm not looking for random google search results but personal recommendations of companies that WILL do this sort of thing, as internet searches have not come up with anything so far - it seems that the market is saturated and nobody I have spoken to is interested. We are moving to a new office in 2 weeks and no longer need these items.

Alternatively, if I ultimately can't find anyone to take them away (still trying) these items could possibly (with permission from my MD) be available to anyone who can collect them at their own expense from a Westminster address. They are really good quality items and no signs of use. Most are "oak" effect and matching, with a few "walnut" items. Please let me know if interested.

Thank you I will take a look, to be honest I've got a thousand things to do for the relocation I just want someone to take the lot!

The Selby Trust might collect them. They are selling office furniture as a revenue source to keep there projects going. I am going there to look at some pedestals tomorrow. I will mention this.

I have the Selby Trust as a "connection" here on HoL.  I dropped them a line to see if they want to respond to your post....

Thanks Con I spoke to them today and they don't have a means of collecting them.

https://www.globechain.com/ - Globechain is an online reuse platform that connects businesses, charities and people to enable them to reuse unwanted items within a global supply chain network creating a waste audit and social impact value for members.

Someone I know on LinkedIn set this organisation up.  My experience of office moves is that it's all but impossible to sell second-hand office furniture.

Thank you, I will look into all the suggestions. We ideally wanted to use it in another of our European offices but the cost of transport is prohibitive. We're not necessarily bothered about selling it but we don't want to have to pay someone thousands to pick it up and get rid of it.

A final decision hasn't been made yet, but I wanted to have options as we can't extend our lease just to store the furniture!
They only do residential, so not suitable, but thanks for suggestion.
You could try this:

I used them to buy 2nd hand office furniture and they seemed quite good.
