Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello everybody!

I've set up the Harringay Ladder Jumble Trail 2017 for September 24th, from 11am to 4pm.  You can sell lots of unwanted items from the comfort of your home, whilst meeting lots of people from your local community. It'll be a great day for friends and family.  Here's the link if you want to set up a stall, and to view what stalls are registered so far:

Thanks Aoife, we have registered on Pemberton Rd and will sell household items, clothing and garden stuff, as well as Alan's unique handmade bughouses, birdhouses and home-grown succulents.

For anyone who hasn't done this before it is a great event and a chance to meet your neighbours and the wider community by hosting a sale in your front garden, hallway or outside space. You register on the website to be added to the trail map and it only costs £5 to register. Then you can print off flyers and post them on local notice boards or forward via social media or tell your friends and neighbours. The more people that join the better the event, and it's a great chance to have a clutter clearout or sell your handcrafted items or homemade cakes etc.
Brilliant!
Hi Aoife,

Thanks for setting this up. I will register this week and have another family to join me at our stall.

I don't know if you have capacity to do this, but the best way to generate interest on the ladder is to put some laminated posters on the lampposts through the ladder. I can also try and get a poster in to the South HArringey board which is viewed by lots of parents. I know people will be interested in this but they may not necessary read HO or know what the trail is. THe passage really is the best place to generate interest and hopefully lots of stalls. I am happy to help with putting up and I think I have a pile of clip ties somewhere as well as a laminator if you need it. Let me know.
This would be ever so helpful! I haven't had time to do all the advertising as I am juggling many different freelance roles at the moment. Could I send you on some posters? It would be much appreciated.
Sure, I can do a few at the lower end of the ladder. Would be good to find someone to do the upper end.
I think that jumble trail website has a function for creating posters for your event.

Maybe post as attachment on HO and ask for help with distributing them too?
Excellent idea. Can print them and get them in their windows too.

Here is the poster! I really appreciate your help with this! Thank you.

I shall definitely be coming along. I am running one in Stroud Green a week later so anyone that is outside the designated area may be able to join mine one which stretches as far as Oakfield Rd.  Good luck with everything
