**WANTED**old/broken/unwanted ELEC ITEMS/APPLIANCES for NEW upcoming TINKERING CLUB for kids

Will collect - any old ‘junk’ as described above...... all post-tinkering debris to be recycled where possible.

Great way to have a clearout & enable local kids to explore, create & invent!

1st club/group SAT 17th FEB at THE HUB, LORDSHIP REC.

11.45-1.15.

Drop-in

first group £2.50, £4 thereafter.

Ages 8-12 (younger/older ok too) - accompanied by adult.

Bring own items to dismantle plus some provider (as much as I can accumulate!); bring own tools (not power except elec screwdrivers ok), some tools also provided.

thanks very much for this offer. Sadly I don’t think we’ll be able to manage items of that size..I should’ve been clearer. They’re a bit too big/heavy for me to manoeuvre - the kids will need to work up to this kind of thing I think!

I think it might be unwise to donate a microwave oven. With a bit of " tinkering " by the kids it would be easy to bypass the safety cutouts and power it up with the door open.
