Ah such a shame Hopleys is closing - the cafe/restaurant is a great cake stop on cycle rides from London-Cambridge. Is the restaurant part closing too, do you know?

Liz and I went there today for lunch. The good news is that the cafe and garden are staying open. The nursery is closing in October. I’ll keep an ear out for details of any closing down sale.

Oh, what a shame. Hopleys has such a great range of healthy plants (and is cheaper than Ally Pally or Sunshine garden centres in our locality) - and their garden is an absolute joy! I hope they reconsider and sell the business on, rather than close for good.

Now that is a shame. Liz and I visit there occasionally for lunch, to walk around the beautiful and fascinating garden and to bring home cake. Well worth a visit or two,
