The September events have been scheduled for some time, while the Council's Scrutiny Review of events in Finsbury Park has taken much evidence and I'm not sure that the evidence gathering is complete yet.

events in Finsbury Park are here to stay

I'm curious as to where this comes from. Some inside knowledge perhaps?

Hugh, I'm aware that the remit of the current Events Scrutiny Review assumes that large events in Finsbury Park would continue, but normally one wouldn't pre-judge the outcome.

Do you possess "inside" information that goes beyond that remit and that for the sake of transparency, you'd like to share?

Well, it's in the events policy Clive. Unless the policy changes they are here to stay I suppose.
