Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

As you are probably aware, BGORUG's press release on Monday 6 February

 http://barking-gospeloak.org.uk/documents/20170206_press_release.pdf

forced Network Rail and TfL to issue statements the next day confirming the reopening of the line on Monday 27 February but also admitting that much of the electrification work still remained to be done and that further closures would be required. Due to Crossrail works at Stratford and also on the North London Line, the only windows for further work on the electrification until June are nights on Mondays to Thrursdays.

I attach now the latest BGORUG Passenger Newsletter which carries brief details of what work was completed and what remains and speculates about the next closures. There is also a copy of the timetable since Overground no longer issue timetable booklets. This Passenger Newsletter will appear on our website in due course.

We expect to learn more about Network Rail's plans for more closures later next month.

Barking - Gospel Oak trains now running, weekends too (weekends are a late bonus I think, the line needs to be open as a diversion for freight from the North London line).

Freight diversions fron Stratford as well as NLL. Was out and about this morning, obviously most passengers don't know the line is open. First train failed before 08:30. Passengers on the Willesden PIXC-buster thrown off at Crouch Hill!

Things can only get better!

No onward trains at Gospel Oak 0830 - 1230 today - bomb disposal at Brondesbury Park.

Shame they didn't paint the bridge...

Its a shame
