Event Description

Open House London celebrates all that is best about the capital’s buildings, places and neighbourhoods. Every September, it gives a unique opportunity to get out and under the skin of London’s amazing architecture, with over 700 buildings of all kinds opening their doors to everyone – all for free.

The dates for 2013 are 20 & 21 September

Haringey's brightest architectural gems – from Hornsey Town Hall to Highgate School – will be open to visitors as part of London Open House Weekend, 20-21 September.

Highlights of Open House in Haringey include:

  • Hornsey Town Hall, Crouch End, N8
  • 639 Tottenham High Road, N17
  • Hale Village, Tottenham Hale, N17
  • Highpoint, North Hill, N6
  • Muswell Hill Odeon, Fortis Green, N10
  • Light House, Fairfield Road, N8
  • Alexandra Palace, Alexandra Palace Way, N22

In addition to tours of individual buildings, Hornsey Historical Society will lead a guided walk of Muswell Hill, while the Tottenham Civic Society has arranged a tour of the Tottenham Green Conservation Area, including Tottenham Town Hall.

Entry to all Open House properties is free, although pre-booking is required for some locations.

Printed guides are available from Haringey libraries or ordered from the website. Venues in Haringey can also be browsed online - this one 13 Burgoyne Road is in Harringay.
