Event Description

Christophe Declercq (Centre for Translation Studies University College London) will talk about the 1,500 Belgian refugees housed at Alexandra Palace 100 years ago and how the local community welcomed those fleeing their homes by donating the festive meal and gifts for the children.

This is the first talk in Ally Pally's First World War series taking place in the  on Wednesday 17 December from 18:30.
