Entries are open for the annual YMCA North London's Crouch End Fun Runs !
This is one of the largest community events in North London, a diary must for many. Over 3,500 adults and children enter the 10 fun runs, and over 5,000 people in Priory Park enjoy the day-long festival of music and entertainment.
On Sunday 21st May 2017, there will be a children’s fun run, completely contained within Priory Park N8, plus an adult 10k event, in and around the lower levels of Alexandra Palace Park and Priory Park.
The Fun Run & Festival is a Charity Event to help vulnerable homeless young people build a better future. Please support YMCA North London’s work with vulnerable young homeless people at our hostel. Initially we provide a safe place to live and remove the risks that come with being homeless. Then we assist with their move into education, employment and training, and onto independent living.
Event entry fees are discounted - from £11.50 to £6.50 for children, and from £19.50 to £11.50 - for adults who commit to raising at least £30 in sponsorship or donations.
The event will take place from 9am – 5pm on Sunday 21st May.
The Adult 10k race, that starts at 09.30 follows a two lap route around the lower areas of Alexandra Palace Park, and is open to anyone who is 16 or over on 15th May. The 9 children’s Fun Runs, that start between 12- 3pm, follow a 1-mile long figure of eight circuit completely contained within Priory Park. These are split into age groups, and are open to children aged 4 and over on 21st May. The festival of food, fun and music takes place all day.
Online Entries are open now, and sell out fast, so do enter early to avoid disappointment. To enter, go to http://www.ymcanorthlondon.org.uk/ymca-north-london-fun-run-festival/
