We have 2 pints of milk delivered to our doorstep three times weekly and theyr'e left in the porch outside the front door sometime between 2 and 3 in the morning. But with the last 5 deliveries, when I've come down to take them in I've found one bottle on its side nearly empty with the foil cap either pulled off or punctured with 3 small holes (see photos).

Does anyone have any idea what little mammal might be doing this?

Guide Dogs London is looking for volunteers who could board a trainee Guide Dog for between 12 and 16 weeks. You will need to be able to bring the dog to our new office near King's Cross station (Thanet St, WC1H 9QL) between 7-10am and then collect it again between 4-7pm so you will have the dog at home for evenings and weekends.

You need to have a maximum 30 minute journey to our office and, if using the tube, the station needs to have a lift/stairs as the dogs cannot use escalators. Full training and support is given.

So another couple found a rabbit dumped in an A4 printer paper box on Tottenham Marshes yesterday afternoon... he is due to be collected by the RSPCA but there is a temptation to keep him!

If anyone has any cages or runs or indoor pens they no longer want, please do let me know.

Organic, free range kittens (!) last 2 of a litter of 5. Black with slight white touches, one male, one female. Totally bonkers and turning my house upside down - they are about 8 weeks old and ready to go in 2 weeks. Could only photograph one as neither will stay still long enough for a photo.

These are free to a good home - all I ask is that you innoculate and neuter them. You'll need to get injections immediately and then another set of jabs in 3 weeks time. A local vet has quoted…

These are free to a good home - all I ask is that you innoculate and neuter them. You'll need to get injections immediately and then another set of jabs in 3 weeks time. A local vet has quoted £50 per kitten for this. The kittens will need to be neutered in about 2 months time at a cost of around £60 per kitten. You'll also need to talk to the vet about worming, flea treatments etc.

Cats can live up to 18 years and it costs about £6-10 a week to feed them. They need fresh water every day and human contact, as well as a scratching post, toys and outside space. Please bear this in mind when taking on a kitten.

If you are interested, you are welcome to view the kittens over the next 2 weeks - please add me as a connection to message me. I'll arrange for a home visit to make sure your property is suitable. They are ready to be rehomed from about the end of September.

I'd rather they went as a pair but appreciate this isn't always possible.

This charity has recently given some much-needed medical support to some local stray cats in distress, including a case of FIV (feline AIDs) and an impacted testicle as well as a family of 5 kittens. If you are able to offer an animal a home, or can donate goods to their shop or make a money donation, I'm sure they'd put it to good use!

(I'm not involved with the charity myself but they've helped me out in the past when I've found stray cats locally).
Family of stray kittenstag:harringayonline.com,2012-08-19:844301:Topic:3986322012-08-19T22:48:15.028ZSophie Smithhttps://harringayonline.com/profile/SophieSmith

A family of stray cats are in a garden on Allison Road (Green Lanes end). I have counted a small black mother cat who seems thin and in poor condition plus 4 kittens who follow her around (see pic). I'd guess they are 5 or 6 weeks old. There are 3 black ones and a grey/white one. This garden has a history of stray kittens which has not been addressed and I suspect these are descendants of other strays.

I have 2 rescue cats of my own so can't home these but feel the following needs to happen:

- all of these cats to be spayed

- the mother's health to be addressed.

- the kittens to be homed ASAP if possible

Does anyone know anything about these animals or own them? if not I'll try and arrange for them to be spayed. Is anyone looking for kittens? I understand if they are homed when young enough they should become good pets...but not if it's left too late and they grow up unfamiliar with people. I'd need help to catch them - I think the charities have cages to trap them with food.

I'm not sure if the mother cat can be helped much - I think the shelters are full and the RSPCA prefer to leave strays where they are unless in distress. However if someone on Allison Road can agree to feed her in the garden maybe that might help - I don't live on the road myself but have access whilst the tenants are away.

Thanks for any help or advice you can give!
