Update on the Ladder CPZ (sort of).......

.........sort of because apparently confusion reigns supreme. One resident was told by a traffic warden the other day that the new hours are already operating even though the new signs are not yet up. (See old posts for the hours if you're not sure what they are).

On the other hand one of our local councillors has been informed that the scheme won't be starting till February. Neither Brian Haley, (the councillor responsible for traffic and a Ladder resident), nor the Haringey Council Department responsible have as yet been able to give any definitive answer.

One of the local residents who keeps a watschful eye on what's what around the Ladder tells me that traffic wardens are no longer patroling after 6.00pm.

So, that's why I called this a sort of update. As of today it seems to be a matter of you pays your money, you takes your choice.
