BABY ITEMS NEEDED
My young daughter is having a baby and needs all the help she can to get started. We have just missed out on Gillians pram and would be grateful of any offers of unwanted baby items, to date we have nothing but a baby bath. She will be having a girl. Many thanks.

As the proud new owners of Tumbridge Wells Bugaboo Frog we are now searching for the carry cot or bassinett that attaches to it for a newborn. So anyone who no longer needs theres or know of anyone else who might be able to help we would be most grateful for it.

Thank you Lesley I have joined, things go really quick however and I havent got mobile internet so am at a big dissadvantage but I did put in a wanted for a car seat and one was passed on so slowly getting there! x

I think I can help you with that check out the UK online based not for profit recycling/reuse voluntary organisation ilovefreegle.org Freegle means 'Free Giving Locally Easily' and is an online forum where members can request or offer just about anything so long as it's free and legal. There are hundreds of branches across the UK so there's bound to be a group near you. I run the Enfield branch and have over 7,000 members giving away things they no longer want and getting things they do.
Freegle works a bit like eBay without the money and is run entirely by hundreds of dedicated volunteers it's free to join and free to use, you can post for all of the things your daughter needs completely free of charge of course you will need to pick items up from the person offering. You can also post a 'Wanted' ad for the things you want which gives you two chances of getting what your looking for. Freegle also actively encourages Schools, Nursery's, Community Groups, Charities, other not for profit organisations, Hostels and many more who can post for resources completely free of charge. You'll need a Yahoo ID as they provide our websites since we have no funding, use the 'Find a Group' search engine type in your area or postcode and the system will generate a list of groups closest to you, choose the group you'd like to join (Such as Enfield UK) click on the appropriate link and it will take you to the groups page. Click on 'Join this group' register and you'll get a confirmation email, click on the link to go back to your group and your good to go! Click on 'Messages' to see what's on offer or being requested.
