Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Beresford Road resurfacing

Does anyone know what is going on with this?

Things I know:

  • we got a letter last week saying that the Green Lanes end of Beresford Road, from the passage down was to be resurfaced 1st-3rd June
  • There was a sign to this effect at the junction with Wightman Road
  • There was nothing shown on the Haringey roadworks map: https://one.network/custom/haringey/
  • First thing this morning there was a sign opposite our house saying the roadworks were 2nd/3rd June
  • This sign was removed at some point before lunchtime.
  • There is still no information on the Haringey roadworks map or anywhere else on the Haringey website.

Hence the question - what is going on?

Slight update, the sign at Wightman Road is also gone.  Am starting to think I imagined the whole thing.

Saw the signs being put up yesterday morning too (a bit late for anyone who didn't see the letter). No idea what's going on now.

 I'm so glad I moved my car to a friend's house in Hornsey.
