Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Seems Haringey are starting to Sweep Leaves. Noticing the Purple bags full of Leaves Down Gladstone Avenue.
Was at Highgate on Tuesday. They Sweep Leaves into Road and a Driven Sweeper picks them Up saving the Countless Bags that Haringey are using
Aware Haringey has similar Road Sweepers - Would have thought they would have done the Same and saved the Countless Plastic Bags - So much for the Council being a Green Borough

If they swept the leaves into the road here then they would just clog up the drains. There are cars parked all the time in my road so the driven sweeper wouldn't work. They don't seem to sweep leaves at all in our road relying on residents doing it.

They were using the street sweeper on the pavement on Fairfax Rd last week. It was very cool.

Noticed the Road Sweepers on Tottenham High Road last night . Really made a difference - as was stuck in traffic and noticed the water running away after they passed by.
Really does seem a waste when collected into plastic bags - could used reusable builder style bags
