Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Bridge House just sent out a text saying do not attend the surgery even if you have a booked appointment - they will be doing telephone appointments only at the moment.

Yes I got that just now - I'm bringing a baby in for her routine vaccinations on Weds (well I guess I'm not now). Wonder how it's going to work with stuff like that from now on?

Ditto Queenswood.  I guess it is all local surgeries now?

I was confused by their text message but they are still doing booked vaccinations and dressings.

As I understand it, the phone appointment is an assessment and if you then need to go in, they will arrange it.

Yes I am a nurse at a Gp surgery, and we were advised to cancel all our appointments last Monday,

patients call in, if they can be treated over the phone, then great, some still need to come in

The one good thing coming out of this is, that finally patients seem to be taking responsibilty for their health more , doing the things we have been advising them for years. Accepting that. a phone consultation is plenty good enough, and they don’t need to see us. Been trying to do this for years
