Can anyone recommend someone to service a gas oven and boiler?

I used the services of Pete Hart for my annual gas safety check and to fix my boiler when it broke. Nice guy, comes when he says he will, and did a good job fixing the problem when we discovered the boiler wasn't working due to a radiator pipe leak under the bath. I don't know if he repairs ovens, but he certainly checks them as part of the gas safety check procedure. He's a gas safe engineer.

Hello

Do you happen to remember much Pete charges per hour at all?

I am trying to help out elderly neighbours and we have everything in place - cooker, a kind stranger to help transport but no gas fitter to help connect the cooker.  Myself and a couple of neighbours are keen to find someone who is available on the 9th or 10th of March.

Hi

I would definitely recommend Milo heating. Having an engineering background with some expired gas experience I can confirm that Lisa is an excellent gas engineer/technician. She recently fitted a high Kw fire that others recommended on HOL declined to touch as they didn't have the necessary qualification. i have used them for years now and just bought a new boiler from them as my very old one finally became too old to fix. They used to have a shop on Green Lanes. i highly recommend them.

I'd second that. They've just installed a new boiler for me and were great. Punctual, polite, tidy, and the best price too. Did a very tricky re-routing of pipework for me fantastically well.

Unfortunately my experience of lisa was different. No communication. I text her as to where she could locate the part for my oven. Then heard nothing. I suppose the job was  too little and not worth her time. Eventually had to look elsewhere .
