Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Can anyone point me in the direction of a beautiful church and grounds in North London that may 'hire' during any day for a 2 hour shoot with one camera and 10 people in pews chatting for a short comedy film ?

I've spotted many but some like the Camden St Pancras church won't even allow me to film in the grounds let alone interior (though they do put on gigs ?!)

If any knows a local vicar who would be open to this, we would gladly pay for the short hire.

God help me.

Any more on your criteria, Dave?

There are a number of beautiful churches but I can't think of any with grounds attached. I think there is a chapel close to Bruce Castle that might do.

St Ann's has grounds of a sort. One of my reasons for asking is that we have a decommissioned church on Mattison (but without grounds), that the current occupants might make available. (I posted a whole load of pics of the interior some while back, but can only see a few on my Flickr a/c)

Hi Hugh

Is St Ann's Tottenham ?..interior the 2 shots in your flikr pages...If so that looks great for interior.

Decommisoned church on Mattison Road ? the ladder? Who are the current occupants Hugh ?

London Catholic Workers - see this thread (also fond the pics there on P2). Con's a great guy and you can contact him via HoL here.

Contacted Con via email. Hopefully we may have an interior..

And now for a church with grounds !

Many thanks Hugh, though if anyone has any other suggestions they'd be welcomed.

St Ann's Road has a nice church with some grounds (not much but some) on the corner of Avenue Road - good luck

For grounds, I wonder if somewhere like Abney Park Cemetery might do? Plent of space there.

Re. St Pancras Church, that makes NO sense, as we had a gig filmed there last year..

have you tried Union Chapel?

For external, what about All Hallows Tottenham ?

That looks good.

Does Dave know we're charging him location finder fees?
