Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi,

I'm having an issue with a street tree.

I submitted a report as per the advice on

https://www.haringey.gov.uk/environment-and-waste/nature-and-conser...

I got an initial acknowledgement and they said they would inspect and respond by 26/07/2018 but I haven't heard anything back.

Does anyone know how I should chase it up.

Thanks in advance

At the risk of stating the obvious, have you tried phoning them,  there's an environmental services phone number here - i realise a lot of their phone services are automated but if you can manage to get through to someone they can be surprisingly helpful

Thanks Robin - I didn't know who to call but haven't given it a go as you suggested. They will get back to me they said.

Thanks Gordon - I'll chase that up if I don't get any joy from environmental services

What's the issue with the tree?

I also had trouble getting any response, some time ago.
So, seeing your message I had another go and rang Haringey Council on 8 489 1000 and chose option 8. I was on hold a long time but finally spoke to someone about a dead tree in Lancaster Road and another on the Parkland Walk. Both have been logged, so we shall see.

Raise it as a Health and Safety Issue. And Photograph it . Worth putting pictures on Board as a Record

Someone came from the council and photographed the tree on the Parkland Walk from my garden as it was not visible from the walk. She said there is a second tree needing attention in Lancaster Road, so it's all happening.
