Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Has anyone else had their wheelie bin damaged by Veolia? I'm wondering if it's worth complaining to them before I shell out £30 for a new one. Thanks.

I have had mine dropped and wheels knock off. Took several weeks to get replacement

They will replace, as aware they can be damaged. Dropped or lids ripped off

Aware that sometimes there is issues with None supplied Bins.                                                                              As understand some have purchased large bins that they will Service

Thank you for this - I think might be worth a try. Will post the outcome!

Peter. Before I go down a rabbit hole trying to work out how to deal with this, where did you report it to? I noticed one of the pin hinges has gone on our bin too? Thanks

Was it here? - enquiries.haringey@veolia.com

I found that Veolia people (particularly when phoned) are much more helpful and accommodating about this than the bald 'pay up' declaration on the Haringey website would have you believe.

Agreed

My recycling bin lid was damaged by Veolia. I rang them and they sent someone to repair it in the same week. I hope this helps.
