Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I've mangled my bike so need an alternative set of wheels to tide me over until it's fixed.

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the new(ish) dockless cycle hire schemes, such as ofo or mobike. Main requirement is local availability, around the Green Lanes / Ladder area.

Thanks!

not quite what your looking for, I'm not a huge fan of dockless hire bikes.

Yeah, I've seen that, madness.

Thankfully my wonderful neighbour has just fixed up my bike, so no need for a temporary replacement now.

Ofo has shut down I believe, mobike is not in our area. I've seen a few of Uber's new scheme bikes around, the area covers about up to the Arena shopping. I think that's as good as it gets, Lime is similarly not covering as far north as us.

Thanks for the helpful reply. Luckily my bike is roadworthy once again!

I've seen a few Lime bikes on the ladder.

This late afternoon there were two Uber bikes in the rack by The Beaconsfield pub, opposite the road towards Sainsburys. Oh, and a dumped orange bike.  [Edit: Mobike].

Also some days I've seen a green electric bike [Lime-E, apparently] placed strategically by one of the entrances to Harringay Green Lanes station.

Hope this is useful to others even though your bike is now fettled.
