Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Dooguie its a very friendly cat gets along  with children very calm, love to stay outside in the garden its has been with us for 5 years Dooguie, is a male black cat neutered.

The reason we can't keep him as new baby arrived and unfortunately she is allergic, so now he is spending most of the time outside and we think is unfair on him so we are looking for someone who can give love to this amazing cat ,as we think he deserved better.

He can perfectly be indoor cat but we would love to give him to someone who has a garden as he can continue his outsides trips.

What a beautiful little cat, you must be so sad to part with him. Hope it works out with Peter, I will spread the word among my cat network as well just in case.

Dooguei still looking for new home unfortunately didn't work with  Peter so this little boy still looking for new place any help will be much appreciate , many thanks .

Awwww have you tried twitter?

I'm not a twitter person I don't know how that works sorry but I would be very happy if you could help me with this many thanks Lauren.

Kust, when you post on HoL, your post is automatically tweeted out and sent to our Facebook page. We have 8-9,000 followers. So that's a start. I just tweeted out this post again.

If you add your Twitter and Facebook accounts, you can also post to those services yourself direct from HoL. Go to your settings page (above the Winkworth ad), the choose Connections.

Once that's done, just use the icons at the bottom of any post.

In addition to what Hugh said below I will tweet his pic and info and refer anyone to you via this site.

Dooguie still looking for a new home. Much appreciated if you can help as the winter is around the corner thank so much .

I have tweeted him again for you, please keep us updated. Also have you spoken to Wood Green Animal Shelter and Cats Protection at Archway? They can put him on their waiting lists for shelter/fostering and their website for adoption.

I wonder if anyone on Harringay Online would even consider fostering him until a permanent home can be found?

Prompted by Lauren, so have I. He looks like a sweetie.

I hope someone offers Dooguie a good home as soon as possible. He's a beautiful little cat.

Perhaps until a home is found, you can section off an area for him when he needs to shelter inside. In the meantime, I can recommend a SnuggleSafe heat pad (if you have a microwave) as all cats love them and it keeps them warm and cosy for hours http://www.snugglesafe.co.uk/heatpad.htm (you can buy them on amazon). Also a great outdoor shelter is something like http://www.shedcetraltd.co.uk/FLO-Cat-House.html and there are cheaper plastic ones out there as a temporary measure.

Hopefully someone out there can offer him a home with a garden before winter sets in. Best of luck and I will try to spread the word.

Ohhhh I hope so! Justine can probably advise you on introducing a new cat, she is somewhat experienced in this area ;-)
