Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have a bright and cosy room (not too big, not too small) in a friendly family home, available NOW.

It's perfect for an easygoing, mature (not necessarily older) person who:

- needs to work and stay over in London during the week (Mon-Fri)

- or wants to stay for the full week

- or a traveller visiting our fair city

- or someone who perhaps doesn't want to commit to a longer let

- or someone who can commit to a longer let

I'm fairly flexible, so just let me know what you'd prefer.

My house is located in a quiet neighbourhood in north London, Zone 2/3, near the Harringay Artists Warehouse District. Manor House is the nearest tube station (10 min walk) with Harringay, Seven Sisters and Finsbury Park tube/overgrounds also within shouting distance.  Buses include 29, 67, 141, 341, 253, 254, 259 and 279.

The furnished room has a double bed, chest of drawers and hanging rail, cupboard, desk, mirror, etc. It’s a comfortable, quiet space.

You’ll share the usual family facilities – living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, fast broadband - with myself, my reasonably house-trained teen son and Cutie the cat.

We want to live with a friendly, clean and tidy, independent person with an open-hearted disposition. Please, no grumps! Hopefully, you'll be as happy to spend a little time with us as you will chilling out on your own.

No couples or smokers, please.

The rent is £170pw in advance, all-inclusive, plus £340 security deposit.

If it's relevant to you, I'm a freelance copywriter and editor, splitting my work days between the office and home. I also have a home-based reiki practice. My son is a bit of a gamer, which he balances nicely with his A Levels — or so he tells me. Cutie comes and goes.

If you get the feeling this is the place for you, do get in touch for further info.

Thank you!

Would you accept Housing Benefit?

Hi there. Always happy to help but my understanding is that the council puts a limit on how much housing benefit you can claim? Also, our lifestyle would probably work better with someone who is working/studying.
Hi there i just requested to connect as i am interested in the room. I work in the area. If you could message me that would be great.
