Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Meet Fleur! She’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has been rescued by All Dogs Matter from a puppy farm. ADM think that she is between 2 and 3 years old.

Poor Fleur arrived at ADM's kennels and is scared and nervous in her new surroundings. She is now in a temporary foster home, waiting for a permanent home.

She's always lived in a puppy farm, so she is not used to going for a walk, is not house-trained, and has never lived in a cosy home.

She will need an experienced dog owner and could only live with dog savvy children of 10 years plus.

Fleur is good with dogs and is more confident when they are around. She will need to live with a calm resident dog in her new home. She can’t live with cats.

Fleur will need direct access to a garden in her new home.

Please contact All Dogs Matter if you are interested in offering Fleur a permanent home. Rehoming Questionnaire. They would love to hear from you. Home checks apply.

All Dogs Matter need donated items for their ADM charity shop in Muswell Hill.

If you can't offer a permanent home to a dog, can you offer a temporary foster home? ADM urgently need foster carers - as they have dogs who need temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found. Fostering Questionnaire

the fostering questionnaire doesn't work. it doesn't save and let me submit once filled in

Thanks for being interested in fostering. Have told ADM that they have a technical problem.

I'm told that Fleur now has a temporary foster home, but still needs a permanent home. ADM dogs needing homes and ADM Rehoming Questionnaire.

(In addition, they urgently need a temporary foster home for a little rescued pregnant dog Gaiden due to give birth in next week or so)

Also Oldies Club need fosterers

hi Justine, (it would be better to do private messaging but not sure how that works on here) - we have two cats but happy to foster a dog. the only issue is that we are both working Monday to Friday and can only work the odd day from home..

I'll send you a connection request Mimi - if you accept it, you will be able to direct message me in future, should you wish to. I don't speak on behalf of individual rescue places as they each have there own policies, so always apply and see what they say. Yes I expect working full-time would be a problem as it's generally recommended that dogs aren't left alone for more than 4 hours. In respect of cats, you will know best if your cats are used to dogs and of course the rescue will know which of their dogs are suitable with cats.

There are also many rescues who additionally rely on a part-time basis on volunteer fosterers who work full-time, but can offer weekend care or holiday care, for example Rescue Remedies. Many dogs in rescue kennels wait not just months for a home, but years. So if a dog can get a weekend break in a home environment, they love it. Also, if you have holiday from work, but you're not going abroad, then a fosterer can look after a dog for any weeks while off work.

For example, Barley was a Jack Russell who had been waiting so long in kennels at Rescue Remedies for someone to offer him a good home - over 4 years. Volunteer fosterers gave him weekend breaks or holiday breaks at home whenever they could. Sadly he died at 10 years old. He had been waiting for a permanent home for 4 years, but never got a permanent home. So his weekend breaks and holiday breaks were crucial for him, as well as all the volunteer dog walkers. Good news - Fleur has found a home.

Now Lady is hoping that she will get a good home. Lady is a 7 year old petite German Shepherd who has come to  All Dogs Matter after her owner had a change of circumstances.

Lady is a sweet dog who is looking for a new owner to snuggle up with. She’s house trained and knows some basic commands. Lady can live with children of 10 years plus in her new home.

Lady has lived with dogs before and is good with dogs when out. ADM think that she could live with a calm male dog.

Dogs find living in kennels can be stressful, so ADM would love to find Lady a temporary foster home until she finds a permanent home.

Please contact All Dogs Matter if you are interested in offering Lady a temporary foster home - Fostering Questionnaire or a permanent home - Rehoming Questionnaire. They would love to hear from you. Home checks apply.
