Bugs and Beasties

Sunday 27 May, 2-4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Handprint Butterflies - Get hands-on with paint and learn how to print your own colourful butterflies.

Wednesday 30 May, 2-4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Stained Glass Bugs - Come along, get crafty and paint a stained glass bug.

Thursday 31 May, 2-4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Bookworms - Discover what bugs and which beasties like to eat paper! On London History Day see historical books and handwritten diaries on display, dress up in costume, and then head to the Activity Room to sculpt a bookworm out of clay.

Sunday 3 June, 2-4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Insect Masks - Delve into the fascinating world of insects and turn yourself into your favourite species.

All activities are provided for free for families, with thanks to the fundraising of the Friends of Bruce Castle and Haringey Ward Budget funding.

  • Sessions are delivered by a facilitator
  • Suitable for children 5-13 years
  • All children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult and be supervised.
  • No adult admitted without an accompanying child
