Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

One of the benefits of living around here is the plethora of cheap available old skool barbershops. However I am getting a bit fed up with barbers who just know one cut and don't seem able to adjust it. eg 'Can you take it right away from my ears?' 'Sure boss' but it doesn't really happen. Some of it is just language difference but not all of it. Anyone got a barber who actually listens? I don't have much hair anymore, and a number 3 all round will do, but it would be nice to get a cut the way I like.

If you are happy to spend some money then I recommend Murdock Barbers. They are not local but do have a branch in Shoreditch.

Mickey's at Manor House. Very technical barber.

Am going there this very morning! Cheers!

Have been to Micky's barbershop at Manor House as recommended. Place looks expensive, big, bright and pleasant. Prices just the same as the local barber's. Micky really nice friendly guy. Haircut just as I asked. Even have Senior discount. Will def be back.

I always go there now, different league but same price as the lanes' clipper merchants - he owes me, I send loads of people there. :)

What is the price for a standard cut?

£10

£15 at Cherie, ask for Carmen , thought the new Italian hairdresser Trinidad was good. Plus a nice cuppa, + decent cut by by any standards.

http://mickysbarbers.com/ Went today after seeing Micky's recommended here, very pleased with my new barnet, friendly, not to expensive and now does a loyalty card.

yes its a really good place. Regular barber prices.

I like Mr Topper's in Soho.
