Georgina is a pretty female tabby & white cat. She was found living as a stray in various gardens and she desperately needed help and neutering because she was having litters of kittens one after another. Someone did the right thing and finally contacted Stokey Cats & Dogs to help her. When Stokey took her in she was pregnant and gave birth to more kittens. When the kittens were old enough, they were found good homes and of course neutered. Georgina has now been neutered and she would love to find a good home.
Georgina is approximately 5 years old. She would love a home with a back garden (and a catflap would be perfect!) She could tolerate another cat in the home, but ideally she would prefer to be the only cat.
If you are interested in adopting Georgina please email email@example.com and they will be pleased to send you an application form. Please note home checks apply.
Update - Georgina has now been rehomed.
Stokey Cats and Dogs are a local volunteer group who rescue local cats. It's vital that cats are neutered as there are so many homeless cats. They rescue cats and get them neutered, microchipped and rehomed. They desperately need and welcome funds donated by the community on their fundraising page here or you can donate via paypal to firstname.lastname@example.org. They also have a Wish List on Amazon and have a Stokey Cats and Dogs Facebook group and Stokey Cats Blog where you can read all the latest news on their rescue cats.
I post regularly here in respect of Stokey cats needing homes and photos
(If you can't offer a permanent home to a cat, Stokey also urgently need more fosterers - which means providing a temporary home for a cat until a permanent home is found. Can you help? You don't need to have a garden to temporarily foster. If more people foster, Stokey will be able to help more homeless cats). Short term or long term fosterers are always needed. If you email Stokey, they will be pleased to send you a foster care application form to join their volunteer foster carers network. Email email@example.com
Here is a comment below from a resident who knows Georgina -
"From first hand experience I can tell you she has so much love to give. She is absolutely amazing when it comes to cuddles. If I didn't have my own 3 cats who will not tolerate another, I would love to be the one she showers in affection. She is absolutely stunning and pushes her head into your hand so hard for cuddles and affection, it's like she is bursting with love to share. I believe she was thrown out on the street by her previous owners because she knocked water on the man's shoes. She then spent 6 days meowing and crying outside the door of their house only to be ignored until she eventually gave up and spent the next few years being fed by the people in a group of gardens... until saved by Stokey Cats and Dogs. Someone out there must need some extra love in their life from this gorgeous little girl."
